Was Hive engine hacked?
A few days ago, <a href=" official Blurt account</a reported a significant hack of Hive-Engine, a well-known exchange based on the Hive cryptocurrency that allows the exchange of various tokens and digital currencies.
The attack primarily affected several EVM and Solana bridges, including those for Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash, and BaseETH/Hive, due to vulnerabilities in various systems and servers.
According to the official report, the approximate losses amount to 85 ETH, 58 BNB, 33,000 POL, and 257 SOL, in addition to other assets such as USDT and BUSD. Fortunately, not all cryptocurrencies were compromised. Tokens and coins such as HIVE, HBD, BTC, LTC, DOGE, STEEM, and BLURT continue to function normally.
In the case of BLURT, it is recommended to withdraw funds from Hive-Engine or TribalDex to the Blurt main chain as a preventative measure. This incident demonstrates that even large platforms in the crypto ecosystem remain vulnerable to cyberattacks and security breaches.
