Steemian Friends, Dear well-wishers and friends, today I want to share with you the story of failure behind success. Even though the journey is still long, I would like to present a few small stories of failure that led to progress.
If you ever feel that everything you do ends in failure — that’s not true. The more you practice, the more effort you make to move forward toward victory, the more you will face failure. But when you keep going despite failure , that’s when true success begins. However, if after failing you say, “I can’t do it anymore,” then that is the ultimate failure. But if you say with courage, “Yes, I failed, but I’ve identified my mistakes and I’m trying again,” then that is your inner strength — the driving force that will take you to the peak of success.
The same applies to real life. Whether it’s your education, career, or family life — the mindset remains the same. Otherwise, there’s no meaning in giving up before even trying.
Now let’s take a look at the story of when you first started playing this game, and how your journey has evolved step by step until now.

In the above screenshot, I was waiting eagerly for a long candle to appear — hoping that when I finally got it, I’d place it in the empty space and create a huge block. I didn’t want to end the game with so many empty spaces.
Unfortunately, though I finally got that big candle, it came at the very last moment — when I had no moves left. Still, I saw it appear, which means even if things come late, they do come eventually.
So, we must not lose patience — we have to keep trying. I’ve noticed many times that a small mistake can completely change the course of the game. Sometimes, it turns out surprisingly well and helps me progress, but sometimes, one tiny error can ruin the entire match — and that really hurts.
Let’s now look at some of the best game moments — the positions where I performed well — and finally, one small mistake that changed the outcome, just as I mentioned earlier.
Image Caption / Description :---: :--- What a beautiful long candle! Honestly, I really like it when these appear — it feels like I can go much further ahead. Right next to the long candle, you can see the + candle appeared — several of them in a row, which was quite annoying. This + candle is a sign of failure. The candle you see dropping from the top and pointing downward — both of these indicate upcoming failure. With a bit of luck and effort, matching is possible — but it becomes very difficult if there’s only one piece or no space left to place it. The candle falling from above here is one of my favorites. This L-shaped candle can be rotated as needed and placed strategically. Nothing new to say about this candle — sometimes the game ends simply because this one doesn’t appear. You can see here that I had some really good candles — if played right, I could’ve adva…
There are a few important lessons hidden in these observations. If you can understand them, you’ll learn something valuable. I’ve already written many posts and even shared videos about this game — one key point is this: If at the very beginning you notice that the candles you’re getting are not good ones, you must recognize it immediately. And that awareness only comes through repeated practice.
So, what should you do now? Understand this clearly — mistakes happen.
Sometimes, unintentionally, I place blocks or candles in the wrong spot. That’s when more than half of the game turns around — sometimes ending entirely because of that one wrong move, or sometimes missing the chance to reach a good position.

If you look carefully at this image, you’ll notice three marks. The mark on the left side shows where a candle was placed incorrectly , though it was unintentional. The final mark on the right indicates two candles that were placed intentionally — hoping that a better candle would appear later, allowing for a higher score. I sacrificed a small area by placing these two candles so that the next big one could fit properly.
The red-colored candle often wastes space or blocks other good ones — preventing efficient placement.
So, if you study this post carefully, you’ll understand a lot about how to read candle patterns and make decisions effectively.
Ultimately, everything comes down to one thing — you must give time and practice. There’s simply no alternative.
